In Vietnam, textiles are considered to be one of the highest forms of art and spiritual expression. By utilizing primarily the simple blackstrap loom, local people have crafted one of the most advanced and sophisticated weaving cultures in the history of civilization, which has been passed down through the generations.
Our textile tours are fascinating excursions which provide the opportunity to deeply explore and experience the traditional dyeing arts in Vietnam. Enjoy hands-on lessons in natural dye classes, and learn how to use tubers, fruits, and leaves from the forest to dye beautiful colors.
